About me

I was born in Roman, Romania. My profession is violinist. I obtained
my bachelor's degree in violin at the Academy of Music G. Enescu Iasi,
Romania in 1982.

Completely self-taught, I learned to photograph by
reading and shooting. I would develop the photos at home, in the
bathroom, in the moonlight with an obsolete tool, almost rusted, which
has given me so much satisfaction in spite of the unconvincing
results. Digital technology has given me the great fun to work on post
production. I do not know what time I like most between walking around
with my camera and tripod or doing the  post-production work on the
computer to arrange the lights and colors.

I photograph everything and I love looking at the pictures of others. I learn
lots of things. In June 2008 I won the first prize in Shoot Experience
(London). In the same year, I published in U.S.A. in "Photography Vibes Best
of Edition" in the Spiritual section. I have exhibited in Rome and
Palermo in black and white only, and since recently I have started
working with www.fotolia.com and www.shutterstok.com with photos
and videos for advertising.

I worked for Renaissance Hotel and I was
invited to Montreal to do photo shoot for Style Flux Managers.
